Attendence Rules As per CBSE directions, it is compulsory for all the students to complete 75% attendance before every exam, to make them eligible to sit for the examination. No student who has been absent on the previous day will be allowed to attend class unless her / his parent has sent an application, stating the reason for absence. In case of absence of more than two days on medical grounds, medical certificate & prescription must be attached along with the covering application. Pupils should not be sent to school if suffering from any infection or ailments. When such pupil rejoin the class, a doctor’s certificate showing the child tobe free from infection, must be produced. Pupils who are ill during assessments /exams should not be sent to school. Request for permission to go home after appearing for an assessment because of in disposition, will not be entertained. A pupil who has been absent from school without sanctioned leave will not be allowed to attend school until the principal gives permission. A pupil’s absence from school without prior intimation for more than 20 days may result in the pupil’s name being struck off from the school.
