The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) (Parivahan Mantralaya) observed National Road Safety Month from January 1st to January 31st, 2026, under the theme "Sadak Suraksha - Jeevan Raksha". This initiative aims to increase awareness regarding safe driving practices, reduce accidents, and encourage community participation, with activities including workshop, training, and school outreach.
During the Month of January 2026 many Special Morning Assemblies were conducted on 'Road Safety' to create awareness among the teachers, staff, and students.
Street Play was also organised on Road Safety to educate students on essential traffic rules-using zebra crossings, obeying signals, wearing helmets/seatbelts, and avoiding distractions-to prevent accidents and foster responsible behavior.
Students were also registered for Digital Learning of Road Safety Measures.
